Alexander Street update: 24 December 2024

Following our letter to you on 11 December, we wanted to provide an update of proposed works taking place in your area from 13 January 2025.

As part of our ongoing investigations, we need to undertake drilling works in the public open spaces adjacent to Alexander Street to inform us of the ground conditions and any old coal mine working.

Our specialist drilling contractors will be on site from Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm for approximately 2 weeks. There may be some noise generated from the drilling and minor pedestrian diversions required. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. Please be assured that you will still be able to safely access your property for the duration of these works.

Thank you for your continued patience whilst we carry out our investigations. We will provide a further update once we have more information about our next steps and will continue to work closely with the residents, the local council and utility companies as our work progresses. In the meantime, we have set up a dedicated page on our website for residents to get updates on the work taking place in their area www2.groundstability.com/locations
