Dunvant Road update: 9 May 2025

We wanted to give you an update on our progress to repair the ground collapse on Dunvant Road.

Our works to repair the ground collapse

We started work to repair the road on 10 February and expected this to take around 16 weeks.

During the works, we’ve faced challenging ground conditions, and this has meant we have had to redesign the steel reinforcement for some areas. As a result, we have had to revise our programme of works which has led to delays to the original schedule. We currently expect to complete the works by 30 July.

We’re sorry for this delay, and thank you for your patience as we complete these works to repair the road. We will continue to do all we can to minimise disruption to residents and will continue to support the local community as the works progress.
