Deliver for Communities

Thorpe Hesley mine water treatment scheme in South Yorkshire

We maintain and operate over 80 mine water treatment schemes so that we can treat at least 232 billion litres of mine water to prevent pollution of drinking water, rivers and the sea. Our mine water treatment scheme at Thorpe Hesley will contribute to the protection of water resources which are able to supply the equivalent of more than 550,000 peoples domestic water usage.
