Delivering sustainably is key to our delivery and can help us be more efficient and effective and deliver better value for money. It is a key theme of our 10 year vision and last business plan which are clear that we seek to deliver social and environmental value alongside value for the taxpayer through our work. Our ambitions are deliberately stretching and encourage us to be ambitious in what we can achieve. We have made good progress, worked with others and have taken learning where our aspirations are challenging.
We have taken significant steps to better understand, protect, and enhance nature and biodiversity across the land we manage. In line with our goals for nature recovery and environmental resilience we have launched a comprehensive programme of habitat surveys and ecological management planning across a range of our operational sites.
