Solvay Banks update: June 2024
This update provides more information about the mine shaft collapse on Solvay Banks Park.
Due to the impact of the poor weather in mid-April on ground conditions, we had to stop our drilling and grouting treatment works to the shaft.
Our work to improve the ground in the area of the treatment works will re-start soon and then we will start drilling and grouting activities again. We hope to carry out ground improvement works this month with the drilling and grouting treatment works following on from that.
