Alexander Street update: 21 May 2025

Following our last communication issued on 6 March we wanted to provide reassurance and further update about upcoming works at Alexander Street.

Following a review of the information collected from the wider site ground investigation in January 2025 and the ground monitoring that has been carried out for the past 6 months, we are looking to undertake treatment works at the affected properties.

These works are scheduled to take place from Monday 2 June and will last approximately 10 weeks. The works will be undertaken Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm. During these working hours, parking will be restricted on Dundyvan Lane and there may be increased noise and some slight disruption in the local area.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation while we carry out these works to stabilise the affected ground. We aim to provide temporary parking arrangements during this period and we are liaising with the local authority to utilise land owned by them to facilitate our works. This will minimise the disruption to the local area.

We appreciate that it can be concerning when something affects people’s homes in this way and we are here to help in any way we can.
