Site investigation
The schedule of works for the site investigations has now been completed and our consultants will review the ground information over the coming weeks to help inform the final design for the remediation of the mineshaft. We will share an updated timeline for phase 3 of these works at the next public meeting, see below.
You may notice drilling equipment being removed from site today and the welfare cabin will be collected on Monday 3 February. A road sweeper has also been to site to clear away any debris from the works.
Public meeting
Thank you for your continued patience whilst our consultants completed further site investigation works for the final designs to remediate the mineshaft collapse. We would like to update residents on the final designs and updated timeline for phase 3 of the works. We have arranged for a public meeting to take place as follows:
